Goat’s Cheese & Balsamic Onion Tarts

Our new bring a plate go-to recipe just in time for the gathering season. Nutritionist Jess Hoskins saves the day with this EASY pastry hack!

Ingredients
1 pack ready-rolled Careme spelt puff pastry
1 jar GOOD SIDE Caramelised Onions
2 x 100g Meredith goat's cheese
4 thyme sprigs
GOOD Balsamic, to drizzle
olive oil, to drizzle

Method
Heat oven to 220C.

Cut the pastry into 9 rectangles and place on a baking sheet.

Mark a border 1cm from the pastry's edge with a sharp knife.

Palace 2 tbs of the onions into the middle of each rectangle, smooth, then top with the cheese and thyme.

Drizzle with oil and a splash of balsamic. Bake for 15-20 mins, until the cheese has melted and the pastry has risen and is golden brown.
