Breakfast Bone Broth Congee
This nourishing Bone Broth Congee will set you up to win the day!
Take a small handful of rice and slowly simmer for 30 minutes in lots beef bone broth until broken down (top up with a little water if needed), finish with fine grated ginger, garlic, salt, pepper and sesame oil.
Serve topped with a soft boiled egg (6 minutes in boiling water then drain) flaked cooked salmon (do the night before) shallots and soy sauce. Add chilli if you like. Try it with beef or chicken broth. Both are delicious!
Bone broth is particularly potent in the morning with it’s powerful anti-inflammatory, gut healing and immune boosting properties.
