Get Some Pulled Pork On Your Fork

Serves 6 

Ingredients

  • 1.5kg Pork Shoulder, bone in

  • 3 tsp sweet paprika

  • 3 tsp sea salt

  • 2 tsp black pepper

  • 2 tsp all spice

  • 2 tsp ground chilli

  • 1 tsp cumin powder

  • 1 cup GOOD BONES™ Bone Broth (chicken or beef)

  • 3 Tbsp apple cider vinegar

  • 3 cloves garlic, crushed

  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 110 degrees Celsius

  2. Add the pork to the centre of a baking tray and drizzle over the olive oil

  3. Sprinkle over the sea salt, black pepper, spices and crushed garlic. Rub all over the meat really well, ensuring the shoulder is well covered.

  4. Heat a baking tray on top of the stove on high heat, sear the shoulder all over until its brown.

  5. Remove from the stove and pour in the bone broth and vinegar and cover with a lid or foil

  6. Place in the oven and cook for 5  hours, basting with the juices a few times throughout

  7. Using 2 forks, pull the pork apart, mixing through all the juices and leave covered until ready to eat.
